Vaginal Rejuvenation

FemTouch is an innovative, non-surgical laser treatment used to stimulate new vaginal tissue growth, improve sexual health and reduce UTIs in post-menopausal women.

Many ladies develop their urinary tract infections after the menopause due to the change in vaginal health.  Routine treatments with hormone replacement therapies and local estrogen cream can reverse some of these effects but are often unpopular with the patients.

Recently we have conducted a one-year study using laser vaginal rejuvenation to reverse these menopausal symptoms and seen improvements in vaginal health and patients becoming much more comfortable, a reduction in urinary tract infections and improvements in sexual health.

Please see below for our latest peer review presentation given at the American Urological Association, AUA conference in Boston, USA on Femtouch and subsequently published in the Journal or Urology, demonstrating the treatment success so far.

Femtouch is a painless procedure delivered by a specialist laser nurse and a Consultant Urologist. It is carried out in one of our specialist out-patient treatment rooms at The Forbury Clinic – Kendrick Road, Reading.
