What Is Bladder Neck Incision?
Bladder Neck Incision (BNI) is a surgical operation performed under a general anaesthetic performed by or supervised by a consultant urological surgeon. It involves using electro-cautery via endoscopic instrument inserted via the urethra. This surgical procedure involves cutting through the internal sphincter of the male urinary tract to decrease / remove any obstruction to the flow of urine through the prostate.
